Nottamoose Terracotta Sculpture (1200-0492)
by Currey
With a face only a mother could love, the Nottamoose Terracotta Sculpture has a naïve quality about it that brings it a heavy dose of charm. The clay piece could have sprung from the hands of a child, but an artisan created this rust-colored sculpture with its pinched ears. The antlers, which are carved from sanded sapling limbs, are pushed into the hollow piece as a crowning addition to its playfulness.
